During a session, you can expect to be exposed to liquid nitrogen, which will be compressed in a sauna and released as vapor in the air. You’ll wear socks, slippers, and gloves to protect your extremities and will experience extremely cold temperatures between -170 to -230 degrees Fahrenheit.
We suggest cryotherapy sessions 2-3 times a week. However, if you’re coping injury, inflammation, and/or pains, 4 – 5 times a week is a better option.
Good Candidates for Cryotherapy
Cryotherapy is an excellent treatment for a variety of patients. You may benefit from these treatments if you’re in search of a way to recover and heal your muscles. It can also be a viable treatment if you’d like relief from a chronic condition like arthritis, osteoporosis, or fibromyalgia. In addition, cryotherapy can allow you to meet your weight loss goals faster, give you more energy, and boost your mood.
