What is Restylane®?

Restylane is the new name for the dermal filler called Perlane. Restylane® Lyft is one of the products of the Restylane® family of dermal fillers.  The Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology recognizes Restylane® as an acceptable treatment for moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds.

When Will I Start Seeing Results?

You should start seeing results shortly after the procedure, but the difference will be more noticeable within a few days. Results will vary with every person, and doctors may recommend follow-up treatments for the best outcome. Restylane® could last for 8 to 10 months at a time.

How much Restylane® Do I Need?

Restylane® comes in syringes containing about 1 milligram of filler. The amount of Restylane® you need depends on the change you want to see. Our aestheticians here at Novique will ask you about your goals to determine the best plan for you.

You may require 2 to 6 syringes to add volume to your cheeks. For fuller and plumper lips, you may need just 1 syringe. Each person is different so the amount you need will depend on the results you want.

What Can I Expect After Treatment?

Restylane® treatment is a non-surgical procedure. There is no recovery period needed. You are free to return to your regular activities right after the treatment.

Possible side effects of Restylane® include minor pain, redness, swelling, tenderness, itchiness, and bruising in the area that was treated.  These will clear up in a few days and do not usually affect your ability to perform your normal activities. Contact your doctor if you notice adverse reactions.

Your doctor may tell you to skip your workout for a few days. It would be helpful to avoid excessive sun exposure to keep your desired results.
