How Long Does a Typical Treatment Take?

The typical JUVÉDERM® Volbella treatment may take anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes to complete. It makes the perfect lunch break treatment. We recommend coming 20 – 30 minutes prior to your appointment time for a topical numbing cream to be applied.

Is There Any Downtime?

Since JUVÉDERM® Volbella does not come with any downtime, you can resume your daily activities immediately after treatment. You may experience temporary itching and redness at injection sites that will go away on their own after 24 hours. Most patients apply ice packs immediately after the injections to minimize swelling and bruising.
