Botox and Neurotoxin Treatments
Neurotoxin injections relax the muscles responsible for dynamic wrinkles — the lines that form from repeated facial expressions like squinting, frowning, and smiling. Results typically last 3 to 4 months, and many patients maintain them with regular appointments.Novique offers three FDA-approved neurotoxin options:
Take the first step. Get your questions answered and find out which treatment options are best for you by meeting with our expert providers at Novique Medical Aesthetics for an in-person consultation.
Botox: The most widely recognized neurotoxin, effective for forehead lines, frown lines (between the brows), and crow’s feet. Also used for brow lifting, lip flip, and hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).
Dysport: A neurotoxin alternative to Botox with a slightly faster onset. Well-suited for larger treatment areas.
Jeuveau: A newer neurotoxin option formulated specifically for aesthetic use.
During your consultation, your injector will recommend the option best suited to your goals and treatment area.
Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers restore volume, smooth lines, and enhance features. Unlike neurotoxins, which relax muscles, fillers physically add structure and fullness beneath the skin. Results can last anywhere from 6 months to 2 or more years depending on the product and the treatment area.Novique carries the full Juvederm collection, the complete Restylane line, Belotero, Radiesse, and Sculptra. Each filler is formulated differently and works best for specific areas and goals — your injector will recommend the right product at consultation.
Hyaluronic Acid Fillers
Most dermal fillers are made from hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring substance in the body that attracts and holds water. HA fillers can be dissolved if needed
Juvederm Collection: Novique offers the full Juvederm family, including Juvederm Ultra XC and Ultra Plus XC for lips and lines, Juvederm Voluma for cheek volumization, Juvederm Vollure for moderate-to-severe facial lines, and Juvederm Volbella for subtle lip enhancement.
Restylane Collection: The Restylane line includes Restylane Silk for fine lip lines and lips, Restylane Lyft for cheeks and hands, Restylane Refyne and Defyne for nasolabial folds and marionette lines, Restylane Kysse for lips, and Restylane Line for fine lines.
Belotero: A uniquely smooth HA filler that integrates into the skin’s tissue. Particularly effective for fine superficial lines and delicate areas like under the eyes.
Lip Fillers
Lip filler treatments at Novique focus on natural-looking results — enhanced volume and definition that complement your features rather than overwhelm them. We use Juvederm Ultra XC, Juvederm Volbella, Restylane Kysse, and Restylane Silk depending on your lip anatomy and goals. Swelling is expected in the first 24 to 48 hours and typically resolves within a week. Results last 6 to 12 months.
Collagen Stimulators and Volumizers
Sculptra: Sculptra is not a traditional hyaluronic acid filler. It works by stimulating your body’s own collagen production over time, with results that develop gradually and can last more than two years. Sculptra is ideal for patients seeking gradual, natural-looking facial rejuvenation in areas like the cheeks, temples, and jawline.
Radiesse: A calcium hydroxylapatite filler that provides immediate volume while also stimulating collagen production. Effective for deeper facial lines and hand rejuvenation.
Injectable Body Treatments
Kybella: Kybella is the only FDA-approved injectable treatment that permanently destroys fat cells under the chin, reducing the appearance of a double chin without surgery. Results develop over several weeks as the body eliminates the treated fat cells. Most patients require two to four treatment sessions.

FAQ
Botox and other neurotoxins (Dysport, Jeuveau) work by relaxing the muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles -- the lines formed by repeated facial expressions like frowning and squinting. Dermal fillers add physical volume beneath the skin to restore fullness, smooth static lines, and enhance features like lips and cheeks. Many patients benefit from both. During your consultation at Novique, your injector will assess your concerns and recommend whether a neurotoxin, a filler, or a combination approach will best achieve your goals.
Juvederm and Restylane are both hyaluronic acid filler brands with FDA approval for similar uses. The main differences are in formulation, gel consistency, and the specific areas each is optimized for. Juvederm products tend to have a smoother, more cohesive gel and are often preferred for lips and cheek volume. Restylane products are available in a wider range of consistencies and include options specifically formulated for fine lip lines (Restylane Silk), deeper folds (Restylane Lyft and Defyne), and lips (Restylane Kysse). Both are excellent products. Your injector at Novique will recommend based on your anatomy, treatment area, and goals -- not brand preference.
Belotero is a hyaluronic acid filler that integrates into the skin tissue more superficially than most fillers. This makes it particularly well-suited for fine surface lines and delicate areas like tear troughs and the area around the mouth. Unlike Juvederm, which works well for deeper volume and contouring, Belotero is designed for lighter touch corrections. Both are available at Novique. The right choice depends on the specific concern you are treating.
Duration varies significantly by product and treatment area. Lip fillers typically last 6 to 12 months. Cheek and jawline fillers can last 12 to 18 months or longer depending on the product -- Juvederm Voluma, for example, is FDA-approved for up to 2 years in the cheeks. Sculptra, which is not a traditional HA filler, builds results gradually and can last more than 2 years. Kybella results are permanent, as the treatment destroys the targeted fat cells. Your injector will give you a realistic timeline for your specific treatment plan at consultation.
Sculptra is a poly-L-lactic acid collagen stimulator -- it is not a hyaluronic acid filler. Instead of adding volume directly, Sculptra works by triggering your body's own collagen production over time. Results develop gradually over several weeks and can last more than two years. It is ideal for patients who want natural-looking, gradual rejuvenation rather than an immediate result, and it works particularly well for volume loss in the cheeks, temples, and jawline. Unlike HA fillers, Sculptra cannot be dissolved -- it is a longer commitment that requires patience and the right candidacy assessment.
Kybella is the only FDA-approved injectable treatment for submental fat -- the fat beneath the chin that creates a "double chin" appearance. The active ingredient is deoxycholic acid, which permanently destroys fat cells on contact. Once destroyed, those cells cannot accumulate fat again. Clinical studies showed a statistically significant reduction in submental fat in 79% of patients. Most patients require two to four treatment sessions spaced at least one month apart. There is noticeable swelling for 1 to 2 weeks after each treatment as the body processes the treated cells.
Lip filler migration can occur when filler moves outside the intended treatment area, most commonly visible as a blurred or puffy appearance above the lip border (the vermilion border). It is more likely with overfilling, repeated treatments without dissolving old filler, or poor injection technique. At Novique, our injectors use a conservative, anatomy-first approach -- we prioritize natural results and proper placement over volume. If you have existing filler and are concerned about migration, ask about a hyaluronidase (filler dissolving) assessment at your consultation.
The short answer is: you consult with a licensed injector who will assess your anatomy and recommend based on your specific situation. Different treatment areas call for different products -- what works beautifully in the lips is not what a trained injector would use for deep nasolabial folds. At Novique, we never recommend a product without first understanding your goals, your skin, and what existing work (if any) you have had done. Book a consultation and we will walk you through every option that makes sense for you.
Your first consultation at Novique includes a conversation about your goals and concerns, a review of your medical history and any current medications, a visual assessment of your facial anatomy, and a clear explanation of what specific treatments can realistically achieve. There is no obligation to proceed at the consultation. If you decide to move forward, many treatments can be done the same day. Telehealth consultations are also available for patients who prefer to start remotely before visiting the Doylestown office.
